New Releases
With the school year beginning and percussion ensemble rehearsals starting up again, it's a great time to explore the new music that's made it way out there over these past few months.
I'm excited to share two pieces of mine that have recently been published with C. Alan Publications:
To the Red and Blue (Percussion Ensemble - for 8-11 players, Intermediate)
and
Artichoke Tango (Marimba Quartet - 4 players on 2 marimbas, Medium Advanced)

This fall, members of the University of Oklahoma Percussion Studio will continue to perform my piece Daredevil's Diary, which was commissioned by a consortium of the percussion students and will be available for purchase in early 2025.
Also keep an eye out for a performance video of my piece Adrift a Luminous Sky, which was professionally recorded by students of my grad school alma mater, the Wright State University Percussion Studio.
Marching Band
Along with the local high school marching band clients I wrote for this fall, I also wrote Full Percussion for the Minnesota State University Marching Band, known as the Maverick Machine.
The Machine's 2024 show (which will be perform throughout the entire fall season) is entitled, "Purple," and was designed by an all-female team consisting of Kara Metzger (winds), Sarah Thursby (visual), and myself (percussion). This show was a blast to write and I can't wait to see it come to life on the field!
I'm also pleased to share that this fall, hundreds of marching bands across the country will be performing shows written by Randall Standridge and myself. These bands (and you!) are welcome to download my free Battery Notation Guide to reference the specific notation that I use in my battery writing. I always love hearing from my clients and those who perform my music, so if this is you, please feel free to reach out.
